We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice. Beckett-Zebrick Orthodontics is very proud that our technicians have all attained the status of "Certified Orthodontic Technician."
We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I started in the general dentistry field and have worked in orthodontics for the past 28 years. My job as treatment coordinator is to make sure the patient leaves our office after the initial consultation with all of the information needed to make an informed decision regarding orthodontic treatment.
I love meeting new people, alleviating their fears, and educating them about the benefits of orthodontics. My favorite part is watching our patients grow and gain confidence throughout the course of treatment. The beautiful smile and “thank you” we hear when a patient finishes treatment makes my job very rewarding.
The best advice I can give to a patient is to wear the retainers as directed because it's just as important as wearing braces!
I'm the office coordinator, which is a fancy title for one who does a little of everything. I'm basically in charge of the office running smoothly and keeping an upbeat and fun atmosphere. This is the easiest part of my job, since I work with a spectacular team of women who are all very efficient at what they do, extremely friendly, and team-oriented. Dr. Beckett is very easy to work with, too, and she makes all of us feel appreciated every day. That's why I've been here 42 years!
Our practice has always been on the cutting edge in technology, and I'm in charge of keeping our computer system up and running. This is sometimes a full-time job since we always seem to be updating something.
Over the years, I have witnessed the outstanding results of our doctors and team in creating magnificent smiles for hundreds of people ranging in age from five to 85! Our doctors' motto has always been, “No case is too difficult!” Seeing the smiles on patients' faces when the braces come off is very rewarding. The best piece of advice I can give any patient is to wear the retainers as instructed, and your smile will last a lifetime!
Financial and Insurance Coordinator
My job is primarily to work with patients to find convenient payment arrangements that work for them and also to submit their insurance claims. After being a patient myself more than 40 years ago and then bringing my daughter here for her orthodontic treatment, I became very familiar with the friendly, casual atmosphere of the office. That, combined with the excellent orthodontic results produced, made it the place where I knew I wanted to work! It’s been 14 years now!
Our team and Dr. Beckett all work so well together. Everyone not only focuses on his or her specific job responsibilities, but also what she can do to help other team members. We all truly care about each other and each of our patients, and we love getting to know them on a personal level. All of these things make it a pleasure to come to work every day.
My personal advice for our patients is to wear their retainers faithfully as advised. Our skilled doctor and technicians can help the patient achieve the result desired, but the patient is the final determining factor in the treatment's lifelong success.
I've worked here for 17 years, which has given me plenty of time to know the schedule inside out and backwards! As our appointment coordinator, I have the challenging job of coordinating our patient appointment schedule. I do my best to keep the schedule organized and flowing smoothly, while maximizing doctor time with patients whenever possible. I also try to accommodate our patients' busy school and extra-curricular activity schedules as well.
I enjoy getting to know our patients and their families personally. In addition, I love to witness the metamorphosis in each smile from the start through completion of treatment. If I were to give one piece of advice to every patient, it would be to never, ever wrap a retainer in a napkin NO MATTER WHAT!
At our patients’ first treatment visit, I take the X-rays and impressions that the doctors use to finalize each orthodontic plan. I also fit the bands for the expander appliance if needed. My favorite part of the day is performing debands (removal of braces) and watching the happy faces as the patients' new smiles are revealed. One of the best parts of working with orthodontic patients is that they are usually here because they want to be here, and that generally makes for a happy patient!
When I file the study models taken at the deband appointment, I am able to compare them to the “before” models from the initial records appointment. This always brings a smile to my face. I just love to see the transformation! My best words of advice to our orthodontic patients would be to wear your retainers!
Thirty-two years at the same office speaks volumes about the doctors and the camaraderie among the staff. How nice to come to a place where we see the same faces but welcome the newer younger ideas of our younger team members.
I've been an orthodontic technician here for 16 years. I was always fascinated with the entire process of straightening teeth and everything involved in this process of correcting malocclusion while working in the orthodontic field earlier in my career.
I love working with patients one-on-one and finding out what makes their day special. My goal every day is to make their orthodontic experience a positive one. The best advice I can give to all our patients is to keep their teeth spotlessly clean, especially at the gum line.
I have worked my way up to an official orthodontic technician, having worked here since my Freshman year in high school when I was the “clean-up” girl. From the time I started working here, I knew that orthodontics would be my chosen profession. As Dr. Beckett started teaching me new things, I became more and more excited about learning everything I could about orthodontics. I learn more every day!
Working with the kids, especially the young ones, I feel is my strength, not that I don't love working with all our patients! I enjoy creating beautiful smiles and working with such a wonderful team. Together, we strive to provide the very best orthodontic treatment around.
Having worked in the orthodontic field for many years, I joined Beckett-Zebrick Orthodontics in 2015. I spend my days coordinating appointments for our patients as well as working as a technician. This allows me to really get to know the patients. You might see me in the front office one day and in the treatment area the next. Wherever I'm needed, I go!
My best advice to anyone undergoing orthodontics is to brush, floss, and wear your elastics. You'll be amazed at the transformation when your braces are removed!
