North Penn Area's choice for leading-edge orthodontics for 45 years!

Meet the Staff

Denise Houck

Denise Houck I'm Denise Houck, the Treatment Coordinator here at Strohecker Orthodontics. I started in the general dentistry field and have worked in orthodontics for the past 22 years. My job as Treatment Coordinator is to make sure the patient leaves our office after the initial consultation with all of the information needed to make an informed decision regarding orthodontic treatment. I love meeting new people, alleviating their fears, and educating them about the benefits of orthodontics. My favorite part is watching our patients grow and gain confidence throughout the course of treatment. The beautiful smile and “thank you” we hear when a patient finishes treatment makes my job very rewarding. The best advice I can give to a patient is to wear the retainers as directed because it's just as important as wearing braces!

On a personal note, I live in Royersford with the men in my life - husband, Kevin, and sons, Brendan and Jarred. I'm trying to get used to being an empty nester since both of my boys are now in college. For 7 years I have been active with the Valley Forge Rugby Club for which both of my boys played. I'm adjusting to all of my free time now that I'm not running to athletic events and plan to continue working with the rugby club in the future because I love the sport so much!

Susan Molettiere

Susan Molettiere Hi! My name is Susan Molettiere, and I'm the Office Coordinator which is a fancy title for one who does a little of everything. I'm basically in charge of the office running smoothly and keeping an upbeat and fun atmosphere. This is the easiest part of my job, since I work with a spectacular team of girls who are all very efficient at what they do, extremely friendly, and team-oriented. Dr. Beckett and Dr. Strohecker are so easy to work with, and they make all of us feel appreciated every day. That's why I've been here 37 years!

Our practice has always been on the cutting edge in technology, and I'm in charge of keeping our computer system up and running. This is sometimes a full-time job since we always seem to be updating something.

Over the years I have witnessed the outstanding results of our doctors and team in creating magnificent smiles for hundreds of people ranging in age from 5 to 85! Our doctors' motto has always been, “No case is too difficult!” Seeing the smiles on patients' faces when the braces come off is very rewarding, and the best piece of advice I can give any patient is to wear the retainers as instructed, and your smile will last a lifetime!

I've lived in Upper Salford with my husband, Jerry, for 30 years. Our children are grown and living in different parts of the country. Jeff and his wife, Pinky, live in Los Angeles with our awesome grandson, Giovanni. Laura, our only daughter, and her husband, Pete, live in Studio City, California with our newest grandson, Pierce. Our youngest, Bob, lives at the Jersey Shore with his wife, Julia, and our adorable granddaughter, Ila Jane. Naturally, we spend lots of time at the shore. We also stay in close touch with our family using iChat and Facetime almost nightly!

Rhonda Moyer

Rhonda Moyer My name is Rhonda Moyer and I'm an Appointment and Financial Coordinator for Strohecker Orthodontics. My job is primarily to work with patients to find convenient appointment times and payment arrangements that work for them. After being a patient here myself over 40 years ago and then bringing my daughter here for her orthodontic treatment, I became very familiar with the friendly, casual atmosphere of the office. That, combined with the excellent orthodontic results produced, made it the place where I knew I wanted to work!

The team and doctors all work so well together in our office. Everyone not only focuses on his or her specific job responsibilities, but also what he or she can do to help other team members. We all also truly care about each other and each of our patients, and we love getting to know them on a personal level. All of these things make it a pleasure to come to work every day.

My personal advice for our patients is to wear their retainers faithfully as advised. Our skilled doctors and technicians can help the patient achieve the result desired, but the patient is the final determining factor in the treatment's lifelong success.

I live in Souderton with my husband, Gene, our Bichon Frise, Oscar, and 13 turtles. We have two grown children, Adam and Amanda. Amanda is pursuing her Master's Degree at Temple, and Adam is working on his doctorate at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. My outside interests include going to the gym and cooking. I especially enjoy baking for friends, family, and co-workers!

Aimee Anderson

Aimee Anderson My name is Aimee Anderson, and I have the challenging job of coordinating our patient appointment schedule. I do my best to keep the schedule organized and flowing smoothly, while maximizing doctor time with patients whenever possible. I also try to accommodate our patients' busy school and extra-curricular activity schedules as well. I enjoy getting to know our patients and their families personally. In addition, I love to witness the metamorphosis in each smile from the start through completion of treatment. If I were to give one piece of advice to every patient, it would be to never, ever wrap a retainer in a napkin - NO MATTER WHAT!

When I'm not at work juggling our appointment schedule, I'm home in Harleysville juggling the schedules of my three active children, Katie, Ian, and Ben, along with my husband, John. Two cats, Milo and Ziggy, complete our family. In my rare cherished moments of free time, I enjoy scrapbooking and reading. A little known fact about me is that I have an uncanny ability to remember random TV, movie, and entertainment trivia! I've been working her for 12 years.

Karen Godshall

Karen Godshalls Hi! I'm Karen Godshall and I'm the Financial Coordinator for Strohecker Orthodontics. My job is to make sure the person who is financially responsible for orthodontic treatment has a good understanding of the financial arrangements before treatment begins. I set up payment plans and also file insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients.

When I first joined the team at Strohecker Orthodontics 5 years ago, I myself began orthodontic treatment. I enjoy sharing with our adult patients the wonderful result I received from our doctors. My study models are always close at hand to share my “before” and “after” impressions with anyone who's interested!

I love getting to know our patients and very often their entire family. It's rewarding when I'm out in public and see a patient, and they acknowledge knowing me as part of the Strohecker Team. It makes me feel good to see what a beautiful smile we have helped to create.

I live in Souderton with my husband, Rich, and our tiger cat, Jackson. We have three grown children, Tana, Matt, and Brittany. I have been very active in the Indian Valley Jr. Women's Club since 1986 and the Indian Valley Boys and Girls Club since 2004, where I am kept busy as a Fundraising Board Member. My hobbies include photography, cooking, and travel. A little known fact about me is that I survived a typhoon with 160 mph wind gusts while visiting my daughter, Tana, who was serving in the Peace Corps on the island of Yap in Micronesia!

Suzy Brady

Suzy BradyHi! I'm Suzy Brady, one of the orthodontic technicians in our office. I joined this practice in 1978, but first met Dr. Strohecker 50 years ago when I became one of his first patients. I never imagined that I would one day work for him, let alone that my employment would also include working for his daughter, Dr. Beckett! Having worked here for so many years, I have the privilege of seeing former patients return with not only their children, but sometimes with their grandchildren, as new patients.

One of my favorite things about our practice is the diversity of our patient base - they range in age from 4 years to over 80, and are of different races, religions, and nationalities. I have enjoyed learning so many new things from getting to know them. I also love seeing the personality changes that occur in our patients as their facial appearance changes and they become happier, more confident about their looks, and exhibit overall improved self-esteem. It makes me happy that I can be part of something positive that will impact so many people for the rest of their lives. I would like to remind all patients that they are only given one set of permanent teeth. Damage to them can occur so quickly and it is permanent, so taking care of your teeth is of utmost importance.

I live in Quakertown with my husband, Bruce. I have three grown step-daughters and two sons-in-law along with a new granddaughter, Lizzie. I love swimming (I can swim a mile without stopping!), gardening, reading, and renovating our house. I am a volunteer at Bucks County Library and have participated in Upper Bucks YMCA's walk-a-thons and swim-a-thons for cancer research, multiple sclerosis, ALS, Down's Syndrome and Heart Disease to honor afflicted family members and friends.

Kathy Borneman

Kathy BornemanMy name is Kathy Borneman, and I'm the Records Coordinator. At the first treatment visit, I take the x-rays and impressions that the doctors use to finalize each orthodontic plan. I am also responsible for performing the majority of debands (removal of braces). One of the best parts of working with orthodontic patients is that they are usually here because they want to be here and that generally makes for a happy patient.

When I file the study models taken at the deband appointment, I am able to compare them to the "before" models from the records appointment. This always brings a smile to my face. I just love to see the transformation! My best words of advice to our orthodontic patients would be, "No soda, and brush, brush, brush!"

One of the best things about coming to work at our office is that our doctors always have the same positive attitude every single day. There's never any guessing at what the climate will be in the office - on a pleasant scale of 1-10, they are always a 20! I'm sure that's why I passed a 25-year milestone working here!

I live here in Upper Gwynedd with my husband, Tom, and our cat, Phoebe. We have two grown daughters, Sara and Catie. Sara lives nearby with her son, Jackson (my new favorite hobby!), and Catie lives and works in New York City. My other interests include biking, wine, traveling, and frequent visits to our beach house. I also love books, sudoku, and crossword puzzles. Right now I'm busy playing "Words with Friends" on my new iPhone

Dottie Kobasa

Dottie Kobasa My name is Dottie Kobasa and I'm an orthodontic technician. I assist the doctors with treatment and adjustments of the braces. I love the interaction we have with our patients and getting to know each patient on a personal level. I also enjoy watching the smiles change and the transition from malocclusion to good occlusion that occurs during treatment. I have a great feeling of self-satisfaction when I see the smile on a patient's face on the day the braces are removed! I would like to encourage all of our patients to brush their teeth faithfully and to stay away from sticky or gummy foods in order to receive the best and fastest results.

We have a very comfortable office, both as a place of employment for the team members and as a place of treatment for our patients. Our team gets along very well and we frequently joke around together and with our patients. However, we all take our jobs and treatment goals very seriously.

I live right around the corner in Lansdale with my husband, Greg. We have three grown children, Kristin, Kevin, and Keath, along with two active grandsons, Nathan and Zachary (Kristin is their mom!). My hobbies include scrapbooking and reading. Greg and I are also huge sports fans (especially Penn State!) and love traveling to college sporting events and seeing different campuses.

Susan Rambo

Susan Rambo I'm Susan Rambo, and I've been an orthodontic technician here for 14 years. I was always fascinated with the entire process of straightening teeth and everything involved in this process of correcting malocclusion while working in the orthodontic field earlier in my career. I love working with patients one-on-one and finding out what makes their day special. My goal every day is to make their orthodontic experience a positive one. The best advice I can give to all our patients is to keep their teeth spotlessly clean, especially at the gumline.

I live in Sellersville with my husband, Ray, and sons, Ryan and Patrick. We all enjoy golf, skiing, and boating. Both of our sons are now in college. We spend as much time as possible outdoors.

Lori Mason

Lori MasonHi! I'm Lori Mason and I'm an Appointment Coordinator. My job is to greet patients as they enter the office, answer phones, schedule appointments and check patients out after their appointments. I enjoy dealing with people and like seeing the change in appearance that occurs throughout treatment. A patient that feels better about their smile will ultimately have more overall confidence. At the end of the day, I feel proud that I'm part of that process.

Our office is very patient-friendly, and most people truly enjoy coming for appointments. The orthodontists are very knowledgeable, kind, and fair. The entire team works very well together and gets along like a very close extended family. I find our office a very pleasant place to be and believe that our patients do as well. I am currently undergoing orthodontic treatment and enjoy discussing my experiences with braces with our other adult patients.

I live in Chalfont with my husband, Chris, sons, Christopher and Nicholas, daughter, Mia, and dog, Rudy. My outside interests include working out at the gym, interior design, and spending time with my family.
